Rob Cameron & Andy Smith have raced together for 5 years with 2010 being their 6th season together.

They hold 7 UK lap records and the Belgium TT record. The last couple of seasons they have ventured into Pre-65 sidecar trials winning the British Championship in 2008 and finishing 3rd position in 2009 this was after missing two rounds due to a wrist injury of which Rob will be having a major operation on March 1st in London using parts of his pelvis to repair it along with a few screws

 

 

First Race~ Classic race of the year, snetterton 1990. with dad on a barton imp 998cc.

Other interests~  My family. (With 3 daughters and racing, I don’t have a lot of other time!), gardening.

Work~  I provide day care for adults with learning disabilities.

Most memorable racing moment~

very nearly winning the isle of man tt in 2005 (also one of my worst most memorable racing moments!)

Future~ to continue having fun racing sidecars!

Winning first Grand Grasstrack Final (won 350cc final on a 250cc BSA)

 

  Future-  

To carry on racing BUT only if I am competitive. When I cannot finish top 3 position I   will sponsor/help out a youngster. I would love to help out a young racer who does not have the  finance to further their career. Our country needs to help out young racers and get them into 125 GP’s
